Nice to meet you!

Who I am.
My name is Winona Bechtle and you might have run into me at a roller rink, historic LA restaurant, or at the movies (I’m there most nights of the week). My career - and life - thrives in a space that celebrates innovative combinations and unexpected illuminations and I’m always curious to talk to people who are engaging in activities that are guided by affection, curiosity, and inventiveness. I’m incredibly passionate about Los Angeles and all of the people and places that make it special.

What I do.
I enjoy spending my time on work and play that has little to no guidebook for success, and instead rewards risks and original ideas. My experience in project management, nonprofit arts, and fundraising have included restoring and revitalizing a historic marionette theater in Los Angeles, creating and marketing innovative new ways to get people into electric vehicles, and planning festivals at the cutting edge of art, science, and experimental film.

How I can help.
I’m all ears. I’d love to chat about your project, connect you with the right person, or take you to a puppet show. Whether it’s a one off meeting or a long term project, I’m excited to hear about what you’re doing. Maybe you need to know where to find the perfect person to make a neon sign, or want some advice on grants. Reach out to me and let’s see what we can do!
Bald Agency
I work at Bald Agency (with a bunch of incredibly talented people) as Head of Accounts with primary focus on the West Coast. I’m here for the client’s every need and concern, and making sure they’re thrilled by our innovative design & strategy deliverables.
Bob Baker Marionette Theater
I’ve helped to lead LA’s historic Bob Baker Marionette Theater through its nonprofit transition and company-wide revitalization, and I currently focus on all partnerships both inside & outside of the Theater. I’ve been a fan & attendee since I was 5 years old.
Freelance & Advisory
In my pursuit to do everything in Los Angeles I’ve proudly joined Boards of Directors (Los Angeles Filmforum), Advisory Boards (Vidiots), and worked on a multitude of projects I believe in. Have an idea? Send me an email!
